Sperzel post heights
Sperzel Trimlok tuners come in three heights, ususally referred to as Long, Medium and Short.
All standard 3x3, 7 string and 6 inline non-graduated sets have all long posts
All graduated 6 inline sets have 2 x Long, 2 x Med and 2 x Short
Post lengths, measure from the rear face of the headstock to the top of the post:
| Type | Inch | mm |
| Long | 0.945" | 24.00 |
| Med | 0.905" | 22.99 |
| Short | 0.855 | 21.72 |
Some tuner manufacturers measure post length from the rear of the headstock to the center of the string hole. On a Sperzel, the string hole is approximately 3.7 mm from the top of the post to the center of the hole, so using this method, Long are 20 mm, Medium 19 mm and Short 18 mm.
Note: Some manufacturers that use Sperzel on stock instruments change the standard spec. A great example of this is the Parker Fly that uses non-graduated Trimlok tuners, but the post lengths are all short.
